Now That’s Why I Got Into Teaching

Robert Henry is a Stanford University-trained educator who spent more than thirty years teaching middle school students in Los Angeles. He is now retired and living in the south of France (livin’ the dream, like we all want to).  Henry wrote Now That’s Why I Got Into Teaching: Student Voices From the Front Lines of Public Education to remind everyone that “teaching is a noble profession, one where adults continually and as a matter of routine touch children’s hearts, minds, and souls,” and Purple Couch was happy to bring the project to life.
